A lucky customer at Club 3000 Coatbridge won £100,000 in a Special Unique Link Game and shared her winnings with her friend!
Our club in Coatbridge celebrated an exciting jackpot win on Sunday September 30th during our first-ever "Millionaire Night" event.
All 24 of our clubs were linked together for a unique Link Game, which took place on Sunday evening 30th September.
The star prize of £100,000 was claimed by Maureen Russell from Airdrie, who called a full house. Additional prizes were awarded at other locations, including £10,000 for a two-line win in Cardiff and £5,000 shared between Blackpool and Doncaster clubs for one-line wins.
Maureen, who has been a regular at the Coatbridge club since it opened in 2006 , attended the event with four friends, including her best friend of 50 years. The two have a tradition of splitting their winnings, and this night was no exception—Maureen shared the life-changing £100,000 prize with her friend.
The 65-year-old winner, married with two grown sons and one granddaughter, expressed her excitement:
"I love coming to bingo, and Club 3000 at Coatbridge is always a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was amazing, and I couldn’t believe it when I won. The staff were wonderful, and the whole club was buzzing with excitement. I’m still in shock and haven’t decided how to spend the money yet, but it’s an incredible amount that will change my life."
The event was a massive success, with nine of our clubs at full capacity. Coatbridge holds a special place in bingo history, still boasting the record for the highest jackpot win, with a customer taking home £1.2 million in the National Bingo Game in 2008.
