The National Bingo Game Caller of the Year Final returns, bigger and better than ever before this month.
On the 13th of November, Club 300 Bingo in Wigan will open its doors to host the National Bingo Game sponsored Grand Final. With over two hundred callers across Great Britain entering the prestigious competition, this number has been whittled down to just eight finalists.
Stephen Bogden from Club 3000 Bingo Old Trafford, has made the final eight and will be in with a chance of being crowned National Bingo Game Caller of the Year 2022 in Wigan this month.
Qualifying events have been held in Bingo venues across the whole of Great Britain and contestants will be judged on criteria such as their knowledge of the game, showmanship skills, and of course their skills as a caller.
The judging panel for this year’s event consists of CEO of The Bingo Association, Miles Baron, National Bingo Caller of the Year winner from 2019, Donna Kunyo and one other judge who is yet to be confirmed.
The winner of National Bingo Game Caller of the Year will receive a trophy and £1,000 in cash. The winner will also act as an ambassador for the land based Bingo Industry and the National Bingo Game over the next two years.
Prizes will also be awarded to all runners-up with each receiving a trophy and £500.
Joining Stephen in the final will be : Benji Bell from Mecca club in Wednesbury, Andrew Skene from Buzz Sheffield Parkway, Michael Farley from Apple Sydenham, Richard Leyshon from Castle Cardiff, Christopher Graham from Carlton Stirling, Anton Fletcher from Castle Bootle, and Gary Wilson from Bingo Plus.

“I’ve worked in bingo for seven years, starting as a book seller but, with my performing background, always wanted to be on the stage! I love the engagement and fun I have with colleagues and players and love seeing people smile, which is my goal. I see a bright future for bingo and I want to be part of that!”.
